In motion-sensor mode you turn the light on or off by waving your hand in front of the headlamp. It's ideal when your hands are dirty, greasy, or gloved, and it supports the main strong beam and side strong beam settings.
Fully charged, it runs up to 10 hours on low and 4 hours on high. Four indicator lights show the remaining battery; while charging the light flashes and stops once fully charged. You can charge and use it at the same time.

The motion-sensor button cycles through two: main strong and side strong. To extend runtime, the main and side beams cannot be lit at the same time.
